Who we are

What we collect
- What you send us: your name, email address, a description of the job, your files, and our messages with you (quote form, email).
- Payment details: Stripe collects your card details. We receive your name, email, the amount and the order details, never your card number.
- Website visits: basic device and page-view data, through the analytics and advertising tags described below.
How we use it
To quote and deliver your job, confirm payments, give support and handle refunds, keep business and tax records, measure whether our advertising works, and meet legal obligations.
How we handle your files
- Send a copy with sensitive columns (names, account numbers) removed if you like. The structure is all we need.
- For a Google Sheet, give view access only. We never edit your original; the finished work comes back as a new file.
- Your files are opened and processed only to do your job, including with AI tools run by third-party providers (see below).
- Files are kept in private storage that only the Sheetsmith system can reach. We delete the working copies of your source file and deliverable within 30 days after delivery, or sooner on request.
- Copies in our email inbox are deleted on request.
- Automatic backups of our storage can retain a deleted copy for up to 30 more days before they age out.
- Please do not send passwords, full card numbers or Social Security numbers.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business, under their own terms: Stripe (payments), Tally (the quote form), Google (our email inbox and Google Ads measurement), Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising measurement), Cloudflare (website hosting and analytics), and AI model providers (for example Anthropic) that process your file to do the work. We do not sell your information. We may disclose it if the law requires.
Cookies and tracking
The Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags on this site set cookies that tell us whether an ad led to a quote request or a checkout. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views without cookies. You can opt out of ad measurement in your Google and Microsoft account ad settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it
- Your files: up to 30 days after delivery, as above.
- Order records (your email, the amount, a description of the job and the dates): as long as needed for tax, accounting and dispute purposes, typically up to seven years.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to have us delete the copies of your files right away. We act on requests promptly.
Children
This service is for adults and businesses, not for anyone under 18.
Security
We limit access to your information and use reputable providers, but no system is perfectly secure. That is why we ask you not to send highly sensitive data.
Changes
If this page changes, the new date appears at the top.
